He considered the operation of these centers a valuable step towards smartening the electricity grid and improving services to electricity subscribers, especially in the capital.

Appreciating the significant presence of women in managerial, supervisory, and leadership positions, he added: Today, the dedicated employees of this industry across the country are providing services to their fellow citizens in the most competent manner.

Aliabadi noted: The measures taken in the country's electricity industry are superior in many respects to the achievements of regional countries, and with the accomplishments in the field of smartening, we intend to soon surpass the milestone of installing 10 million smart meters nationwide.

The Minister of Energy stated: According to the planned program and with the efforts of our colleagues, we will witness the smartening of the entire country's electricity grid in the future.

According to IRNA, the smartening center for the Greater Tehran electricity network, which plays a key role in electricity management, was inaugurated on Saturday with the presence of the Minister of Energy.

During his visit to the Tehran Electricity Distribution Company, Aliabadi unveiled the center for smartening comprehensive plans, the first center for studies, design, and project management in the electricity grid, and the Resilience Atlas document for the Greater Tehran electricity distribution network.

The smartening centers have been designed, implemented, and put into operation with the aim of intelligently managing Tehran's electricity load.

The main goal of this center is aligned with the company's engineering unit's inherent duties, which include developing the grid in line with load growth and the entry of new subscribers, as well as improving and addressing grid weaknesses, and maintaining grid parameters (voltage, load limits, failure rates, etc.) at standard levels.

Furthermore, the Atlas book enables the assessment of vulnerability and the degree of resilience of various components of the electricity distribution network against harmful natural threats and events, consequently strengthening decision-making, planning, and the forecasting of preventive countermeasures and reinforcement strategies for Tehran Electricity Distribution

Company.
